Deep Metric USA Sockets - S-K Still Good?

I thought about a designated spark plug socket, but I think a regular 18mm deep should suffice. I recently had to change plugs on my outboard and had to borrow my dad's Craftsman 18mm socket (USA made) and it seemed to work well. So I'm hoping the metric deep set I eventually pick up will have...

Deep Metric USA Sockets - S-K Still Good?

I agree...my 3/4" drive Wright sockets that I'll be selling do seem very nice. They do seem to be more expensive than other brands, but the quality is definitely there in my opinion as well.

Good to know thanks. That may eliminate my S-K option for deeps.

Deep Metric USA Sockets - S-K Still Good?

Thanks for the tip on part numbers for the USA vs. Taiwan for Williams...that will definitely help with my search. I already have some Craftsman 6 point deeps that go up to 14mm so I'm really looking for 15mm and larger. Also good to know about the SK deep sizes and not being as long as...

Deep Metric USA Sockets - S-K Still Good?

Interesting...I was thinking all of the new Williams stuff was Taiwan made, but looks like they still offer USA made. This set looks like a pretty good deal (http://www.toolsdelivered.com/Williams-MSBD-12HRC-Hand-Tools-Sockets-Drive-Tools-3-8-Inch-Drive-Chrome-Metric-Socket-Sets), but are out of...

Deep Metric USA Sockets - S-K Still Good?

Hi all, I'm looking for a deep metric socket set (3/8" or 1/2" drive at least up to 19mm and wouldn't mind getting some a bit larger too) and am trying to stay with USA made. S-K sockets seem to be pretty decently priced and am wondering if the current S-K sockets are still of good quality as...

    Looking for a Pressure Washer

I also have the Snap-On branded electric (2000 PSI model) from Menards and it's been great. Works much better than a previous PowerWasher brand that I had. It has a pretty decent hose and cord storage system.

    Armstrong 12-982 Repair Kit - 88 or 60 Teeth

Think I found it...I believe the Matco repair kit part number for the 1/2" drive is CFR8TK. I believe the other part numbers for the 1/4 & 3/8 drives are 1/4 - AFR8TK & 3/8 BFR8TK.

    Armstrong 12-982 Repair Kit - 88 or 60 Teeth

Hi all, Since all of the Armstrong Maxx 1/2 ratchets are now also upgraded to the 88 tooth version, does anyone know if the part # 12-982 will also be the upgraded tooth count? The link on their site indicates 60 tooth...
