    What is a good test light to use?

    I bought an Equus test light (2 color power and ground) from the snap on dealer. I have bought snapon test lights before but find i like using the Equus more often. Easy and efficient.

    Go with the bulldog---agree with others. We used to use this almost on a daily basis to break stucco after a cut down does a great job! Actually not too heavy either you might want to look for used as they are on the pricey side (then again so are their jigsaws, but once again, IMO...

    You will at some point be measuring. Don't forget tapes,squares,and gauges. (Feeler,plug) also would be good with lube and brake tools.

    I agree, about ten years ago when i first started buying of the snapon truck my dealer told me " this is your first purchase and i tell everyone on their first buy, be careful these tools have legs. When you turn around, they will walk away!" Be damned if i didnt learn that the hard way...

    Is the harbor freight 1 Ton Air Hydraulic Strut Spring Compressor any good?

    Hf stuff breaks easily. I wouldnt put my trust in it. Not sayin all hf stuff is bad the bags you get there are great to line a trash bucket. (The only things they sell they cant mess up...) seriously though be careful using the hf stuff especially if you are safety concious.

    Small unit. unplug then work it off the shaft install in the reverse. (I always recommend buying a haynes or chilton manual of your year and make.) Whether you are a mech or not still comes in handy...good luck!

    Check at the upper portion of your brake pedal. Look for a pressure switch. Might be loose.
