    I'm pretty sure you're right about the ratchet action. I'm going to take it apart today but I think this tool is basically a 3/8" butterfly style impact with a 90 degree 3/8" "adapter" on top. It does have an impact action to it

    Hey guys anyone seen air ratchet like this? Picked it up at lawn sale $8. Guy showed me it worked nice. Looks like the right angle piece might be an add on? Looked up Air Inc. in San Carlos CA and it brought up Pacific Pneumatic tools. Any info? Hope everyone had a great weekend :rocker:

    Talked to a home depot employee on the phone who sounded like she really knew her stuff. She told me that the $99 pricing was going to be good till January 15th and that I should call back next week should have more in stock. Called back and got different employee...still none in stock and price...

    Got an older snap on cordless impact for $5 with no batteries or charger. Dont want to invest a ton of money into it so if anyone has any 14.4 or 18V snap on batteries theyd like to sell so I can rebuild lemme know. Thanks

    rubber/plastic? handle makes me think of Wright and ratchet head is deff. a PLOMB design. Its most likely a China/Taiwan ratchet.

    sounds like the plate is warped and hitting the pawl. Buy a rebuild kit from MAC dealer.

    tie rod sockets, anyone use these out have other ways?

    Theyre really nice to have, saves having your arms get tired from backing off a seized tie rod by hand. Dunno why everyone is saying about them going flying across the shop? You guys go wide open on the gun with everything?
