Hi there, the Ko-ken tools are mor polished than e.g. Gedore (Rahsol), but less than Hazet or Stahlwille. Also they do not offer knurling in the Z-series, the standard series has it though. If you buy the AS-line from Ko-ken - which is for SAE aeronautic use - they are nearly as much polished...

New tools from Ko-ken. 1/4" metric sockets Z-series, 3/8" ratchet Z-series, 1/2" 19mm wheel nuts, 1/2" spin handle. The normal Ko-ken series is top-notch, but the Z-series is simply outstanding. I have never worked with better tools. Wow. Seldom used Sandvik-Belzer 1/2" ergo ratchet. Very...

He guys, does somebody know where I can get Heyco ratchets in Germany? I have not found an online retailer yet. I am especially interested in 3/8" 40-00-7 and 1/2" 50-00-7 ratchets. http://s1345.photobucket.com/user/dutch-79/media/Tools/Hand/IMG_7543_zps12d8f472.jpg.html...

    Tools from the old world

Hello guys, I want to buy a metric set of 6 point SK X Frame wrenches. Do you guys know a seller who sells them here in Europe or even in Germany? (The prices are horrible as they are double that of SAE.) Have you guys used that tool and what is your opinion? (I know of two threads here an...

I really appreciate the high teeth count as it helps in very tight spots (e.g. engine bay). As I own both the Hazet and the Bahco, I can say that the Hazet has a very bulky head which will not fit in every spot. Go with the Bahco or with the Stahlwille 512 QR N:

He there, as I am moving on and my projects get bigger, I am now searching for an english wheel and also a tube bending machine for mandrel bends. Do you have any preferences? Are good machines made in Europe on the market (e.g. if I need spare parts)? Feel free to share your opinions with me...

And an used Schlegel arrived today. It looks tiny compared to the bigger Brockhaus Heuer Front. Compared to Montes it lacks 'Made in Germany'. Were Schlegel also produced outside of Germany? Nonetheless I like it.

New Brockhaus Heuer Front 160mm, 27kg. I got me the Turnus picks. Turns out that they have two sets with the same name but a different EAN number. Mine has not the fancy bag and no 'Made in Germany' on them.

Hoesl was my second choice. But the Compacs are cheaper and from your pictures they seem to be wll made. I bought 4x'2H' and if they satisfy me I will buy four '8' with spindle. I need them for a project car and for general maintenance where the cars will be switched more often from the stands...

Thanks for the pictures. To be honest, I think I will buy them. But 'Made in Denmark' is not mentioned, only that the company which sells them is located in Denmark.

I emailed Compac and they just answered with their jibber-jabber about how they are a Danish company and will givr you three years of warranty. If they turn out to be Made in Denmark let me know!

New Gedore. Very durable 14mm screwdiver. I bought the missing 1B wrenches, 14mm, 15mm, 20mm. It is interesting to see that the newer ones have a more satin and the older ones a more shiny finish.
