Picked up this oldie the other day - A number 25 wrench. Not sure on the age as it did not have the dual USS/SAE markings, just the USS 5/16" x 1/4". Anybody know when they started dual marking Williams wrenches? Bill

Nice work, Tom. It always seems like that big middle screw is the one that goes missing and I can never seem to find one with a correctly shaped head to use as a substitute.

Thanks so much for kicking off this thread, Don! Your photo exemplars are fantastic. I don't have near the quality that you have but I did want to comment that you'll sometimes find martial (i.e., "U.S.") markings on tools. This 41-B-307 Wright 5" extension is a good example.

I found a new indoor flea market yesterday and they had this partial (what I assume to be) Hinsdale 119 refrigeration set. I don't have any catalogs and the bits I have and the box seems different than OTG's set HERE. Anybody know what should be in this 119 box? Current contents: MZ1,2,3,6...
