I pulled these out to show the evolution (as best I can) of Wright combination wrenches. The first one is from the period just before WWII (and before Wright retrenched to just making sockets and drive tools). It would be interesting to know if they made their own wrenches for the "combination...

As @Private Lugnutz likes to say - 3 or more is a collection. I recently went from having just the Blue Point B-1351 1/4" x 3/16" brake eccentric wrench (that's 41-W-895 to you folks driving WWII OD vehicles) to having one each of Bonney, BluePoint, Williams and Wright. Bill

I wish I would have taken a before picture of this one. I had to soak, heat, etc. this for two weeks to get it loosened up. Looks to be an 1930s era unmarked S-K 20170. This from the 1938 catalog at the ITCL. Bill Edit: Maybe NOT S-K? Some discussion of Hinsdale or Duro beginning...

Continuing with the oft-repeated "I never see Armstrong in the wild", here's a recent find... 9/32" drive M-51 ratchet and M-110 spinner. I already have another Armstrong M-110 so I'd love to trade for a nearly identical Williams 9/32" M-110 spinner. Bill

Based on their design, I imagined that these l'il 202 makers c-clamps would have been produced early to mid-20th century. Interestingly, they appear as late as the 1970 catalog. Bill
