The anvil says Vulcan 10 on it. I really don't know anything about it. I've been told it wasn't of great quality, but it works good for my occasional fits of pounding.

I've never had a need to use it with the pin out, so I don't know how secure the jaw would be while tightened. But with the pin in it is rock solid. Also the pin is in there so damn tight I didn't want to ruin it getting out. Someday I need to make a tool to remove the pin without damaging it.
