Picked up that vise. Made in China. Not an Irwin vise. Still worth the price as it is brand new. Will post some pics in the Show Us thread.

It is close. It is not exactly like the 8" Palmgren utility vise. Maybe an earlier version? I will find out tomorrow and post. I am kinda hoping it is a Record. They made vises for Irwin.

Cool beans on the Opinel. They have been making that basic knife since 1890 right in Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne, Savoie, France. Beechwood handle and probably XC90 high carbon blade. They are a cool knife.

Picking it up tomorrow around noon. I don't really need it but now I can add one to my welding table. Thanks man!

Got the like new used 1/8" wire crimper. Going to come in handing for new deck railing.

Yeah, I am pretty well educated on oil formulas but I am sticking with Lubri Moly. It is about 15 bucks more for a 5 liter jug but I have never had an issue using it. My BMW's/Porsche's run a long time with very few issues so I am sticking with it.

I think so if you need the Euro rating. It is approved for BMWs and the like. Personally I use Lubri Moly in my 2013 X1 3.0. A 5 liter jug runs about $48 bucks so something with the same rating is worth $28.

Ahh, that photo is of an industrial sewing machines. I thought they were other things.

What's funny is all the example use photos are on vices, drill press etc. No sewing machines...

My 2 sets of 5" arrived today. Nice casters, but be careful opening as the bags of screws/nuts were open in both of my packages rolling around. Easy to lose some. No big if you do but just in case.
