Above 1200 Sq/FT A new shed (my dream workshop actually!) build...

Started using the lathe to cut down the flywheel for the Model A on Friday, and did some more work on it yesterday. Very happy with the lathe, makes huge cuts like they're nothing. I'm taking some weight off the behemoth (68lb bare - without the ring gear and spigot bearing - stock!) and also...

Some pictures of the car going together the first time, in April 2012 in our garage in Tregear... Jenna's 260z (her first ever car) in the background - I really should get that home to work on it too. With a much younger Paul, myself, and Jenna's brother Ben pitching in (Jenna was heavily...

Thanks Bob, yep, that's the one... And I was never going to give up on it, we have too much history. It's just been on hiatus for a while. I actually had members of the car club who know of the car try to buy it from me a number of times over the past 5 years. Not for sale!

Thanks! I do love it... It's a "pinch myself" car for sure, but I feel that way about the whole shed and all of its contents. 15 years ago I couldn't have dreamed of it. Thanks! ------------ Didn't get a huge amount done in the shed over the weekend as we had a few people come over for a...

Above 1200 Sq/FT From Urban Pie Factory To Mountain Barn

Great thread! I love your Pie factory, I too dreamed of something similar when I was younger, but your new place is exactly the type of place I've gone for myself. Keep us updated! Great writing too, very enjoyable read!

Thanks Hewey! Good to see you're still here. Yep, staying busy, making the most of what comes my way. I'd give it all up, but that's not an option, so might as well make the most of it... Thanks! Obviously the shed layout comes from a long time thinking, and a lot of time spent trying to do...

Wow... Been reading this whole thread the last few days. I wish I could be as organised and tidy as you! Great shop, loved all the detailed information and photos a the 3d printing - it's not something I've invested in yet myself, but I sent a number of posts to a mate who has been using one for...

Great work on the rust repairs! Great to see you're still here and posting after I've been away a while. :) The world is crazy at the moment, especially it seems in your part of the world. I hope it doesn't affect you or yours too badly.

Forgot the scissor lift question! The scissor is perfect for working on the 911 - I trust you're familiar with Jack Olsens 12 gauge garage? It's actually better for pulling an engine on a 911 or similar than a regular car - the scissors get in the way of engine crane legs. That's the single...
