Titan shears. $2 on clearance at O'reilly. The package was all tore up, but the shears are fine. O'relly is worth checking out occasionally. They always seem to have tools on the clearance rack each store has.

Yes, the plastic tag the wrenches were attached to say Made in Taiwan on them. I guess this is a house brand for Pep Boys, as googling doesn't turn anything up about Gearhead brand.

Need to replace a few missing from the set I keep in the wife's car. Made in Taiwan, seem like decent wrenches.

Yep, just about any Pawn Shop will be overflowing with Craftsman tools. I bought several USA Craftsman wrenches out of the $1 bucket at one a few years ago for some wrenches to keep in the truck.

They haven't been used much, just sitting in the tool box in the trunk of the car.

Yep, I bought 'Vermont American' pick set. I guess they had a run of those and run of Master Mechanic and someone was sloppy on keeping them seperated at the factory that day.

The Powerbuilt stuff is all on clearance at Pep Boys here. I bought several screwdrivers, and a flex head rachet all for less than $20 for everything.

I believe they trap moisture. Same thing with firearms, you shouldn't leave them in the cases with the foam liners.

I saw ones at either Carquest or Autozone the other day for around that price. It was either $15 or a little under or a little over, I didn't pay too much attention as I have the Craftsman one already. ETA: This one is $11.99 at my local Autozone. No idea how good it is...

I couldn't find these ChannelLocks on clearance at my HD, but I did find and buy a mini 1/4" ratchet for 30 cents and a ratcheting screwdriver for 50 cents.

I think what that warranty is saying, that since they do not sell the pieces of the set individually, they will just replace the whole set in a warranty situation and not the individual failed piece.
