Snap on g clamp. Cost about $600 and I use it about once a year, but whenever I do, it’s brilliant and nothing else will do the job.

I really like the m12 non-fuel drill, small, light, works well. It was $28. I can’t fault it at that price.

There is a 2.5 HO. Small impact wrench’s that are good? Wide variety of ratchets? Arguably the SO 14.4v range is comparable for impacts and ratchets, but the SO range is limited to automotive, is ~3x the price and has less than half the warranty. Dewalt and Makita don’t come close for 12v range.

I use the festool cordless with attached track a lot. Apart from the slightly shallow cut depth causing issues occasionally, it is fantastic. Dust extraction is not as good as a track saw, but much better than most circular saws. Accuracy is excellent.

I have a real thing for the first gen workmates after seeing them on this thread, managed to buy one earlier in the year to restore, but have just ended up using it because it’s much nicer than my 10yo one.

That’s what I thought, then I bought one. It’s incredibly useful, much less hassle than a clamped straight edge and does nicer cuts. Maybe if I had a full sized table saw I’d think differently.

Assuming the lock can be disabled. Some designs require you to push a button to change the angle and cannot be unlocked. Other locking designs are frustrating to use because they will lock themselves if you catch the lock lever (old snap on with the lock lever on the handle).
