Does this Wilton Shop King count? Most of the original paint remains. It even had the usually missing cut-off chisel and pipe jaws. Too bad it has a missing foot. I couldn’t get the other pictures to upload. 3 in jaws. Very little use.

I’ve got one of those in much worse shape. It as holes drilled everywhere. Mine doesn’t have the bench fixture, it probably came off a bench drill. G-P’s catalog shows them as a replacement for the table that usually came with the drills.

Pelletman, you actually need two pieces. The pin and the retaining plate.

ChefRex, you shouldn’t have to "live with some freeplay". If you loosen the set screw that holds the collar in position and then tap the collar CW you should be able to get the freeplay where you want it. Look up patent no. 2127008. It gives you a good idea of what things look like. Mike

I was under the impression that the Wilton SJ were only available as a 450. Am I wrong on that? The one I had was a 450...wish I would have been able to get $800 for it.

Fred, the easiest way is to remove the dynamic jaw, remove the swivel base, get a punch or bolt, or any other piece of rod, put it through the swivel bolt hole in the bottom of static jaw tower, locate the swivel jaw pin hole and drive it out. Make sure you do this on something real solid...like...
