I got good results on plastic with Griot's Interior cleaner. I was looking for a non-silicone cleaner. Plus it does not need to be rinsed, just wiped off.

Yeah, I wondered too. I found almost nothing on Neverslip Tin Cover, including on Newspapers.com. It's possible it vanished completely or the name changed quickly. I was hoping a vise patent would show up that would lead to another manufacturer.

Here's an odd vise manufacturer, Neverslip Tin Cover Co. of Watertown, NY, with my one-sentence Vintage Machinery article. The company's main product was universal-fit lids for kettles and pans. Anyone know anything more?
