Thanks, guys "Who buried your fire hydrant?"...when they put it in initially, the pipe below it stuck out of the ground 2'....I called them on it & what you see is what they did. Oh, I added another couple of photos to my blurb showing what the 85-year-old lady directly across from the garage...

Would love to see a photo of the house & garage together.

Would love to see it....me, I'm probably different than most guys here....I like a rambling garage that has personality as well as space.....we'll be making 2 additions to my garage sooon: a room off the rear where all my major work will be done (that'll allow me to get my drivers out more...

I'm not one to point fingers as my garage is bigger than my house (though we've incorporated 1000sqft of my garage as a gameroom/guest quarters)......but, it just looks like a big metal building stuck behind a nice looking house - it takes away from the house & has no architectural redeeming...

The more I see, the better I like....at first, I thought the garage was going to overpower the house...but, now it looks like one large house with an attached garage - can't wait until the entire thing is sided & looks like it has always been there.

Like it alot - now, where are the photos of the garage portion? The other 2/3'rd's?

What does it look like from the street?

I, for one, would like to see photos made during sunlight hours so I can actually see what I'm looking at.....If there's no rot in the wood & the slab/foundation is in good shape or repairable, she's probably restorabls. But, betteer photos would allow for better decisions.

shopnut: How's your Dirt Dog working? Does he get stuck under cars & around tool boxes, etc. very much or often?
