I would get the xwt14z or xwt15z as it is the newest Makita impact in the lineup and offers a bit more power for just a little bit more cost over the xwt11z. I’ve seen the xwt14z for $160 every now and then. It seems to go back and forth in price between $160 and $190.

+1. Wouldn’t the wt08z be overkill for car lugs? Seems like the xwt15z or xwt17z would be a better choice and a lighter weight and smaller impact gun for the job.
