    Some of them are and some of them aren't. The best way to tell is to look up the part number in the snap on industrial catalog.

    Buy new US General, or old Snap On Toolbox? (is this a good deal)

    I have the US General and it will never be a Snap on... and I'm okay with that. For the weekend project-based garage use I can't and won't justify a higher priced box. Now if I were making a living using it all day everyday I would reconsider, but for now I am more than pleased with my US...

    Thanks for this write up... I looked at a couple of other tool boxes (like Homak from Napa) and compared the meaurements to your chart and I am still going with the Harbor Freight 44 inch.
