    Knipex pliers only, except Klein Linesman. Wiha drivers, except for US electrical work (I use Klein instead).

    Love the Tekton 1/2. Great quality and accurate. Got it for $24 after coupon at Lowes. I also use a Kobalt 3/8 for suspension and other small jobs. Slightly better built than Tekton, highly recommend. Got this one for $33 after coupon.

    Yes you can. However, if you are surface mounting anyway, I would install it the way the manufacturer intended: receptacle box and use the plugs. Run the 5 foot black wires in conduit to make the ceiling a uniform look though. That's just me, especially if precious kids are living upstairs...

    I used cable covers from monoprice. My ceiling is white and the white covers work well. I think it looks better than steel conduit. Nothing will be perfect unless you can hide it above the drywall. Mine garage ceiling is insulated due to bedroom above.

    CDI vs Tekton Click Type Torque Wrench

    Tekton for sure. These are not lifetime tools. They need to be calibrated after a period of time. Freshly calibrated from factory is better. I would trust a new Tekton over a 20 year old CDI that has been thru who knows what. I trust them equally when they are both new. I just bought a 3/8...
