Is real wood flooring (living room) no longer popular?

And easier to install, I guess I should say quicker to install

    Some deck questions...

The few decks I have built I have used PT, green PT is not available here anymore so it was the brown PT, forget what it’s called. I used synthetic roofing underlayment to cover the tops of the beams and joists. I seen someone mention deck tape for the tops of the joists here, that might be...

Cooling my 6 Car Non-Insulated Garage

Insulation is going to allow the garage to stay at whatever temperature it is inside the garage longer. So if you have no climate control and it gets hot in there, then it’s going to stay hot in there longer than if there was no insulation. If it’s cool in the garage, it’s going to stay cooler...

    Should I get a plasma cutter/will I use it

I went ahead and ordered this one, 192.09 after tax. I would have spent 30.00 in gas to go pick up the used one

    Should I get a plasma cutter/will I use it

I want one, I have no immediate need for one so I’m going to keep my eyes open for a good used one on marketplace, although I am debating whether or not this is something I should buy used. Maybe new with a warranty is a better option ?

    Should I get a plasma cutter/will I use it

This was something I had been thinking about. Knowing next to nothing about plasma cutters I was wondering if there were ways to make guided cuts. So you’re saying the contact tips are better for making guided cuts correct? The little machine I posted makes cuts using a contact tip? Correct? So...

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Was out in barn cleaning up today and what better time to do something then when you think of it. Drained the old fuel from 4 spare weed trimmers, filler them back up with Rec90 ethanol free, ran them each for 30 seconds. Friday I got around to figuring why my ATV tire was loosing air...

    Should I get a plasma cutter/will I use it

In my mind I pictured the plasma cutter being able to cut inside bends where there are pillars and such easier than a cut off wheel, I also find the cut off wheels dangerous because they can explode. It’s never happened to me but it happened to a fellow I once worked with. That’s 220v correct?

    Should I get a plasma cutter/will I use it

    Should I get a plasma cutter/will I use it

AI says 90 to 100 psi at 4.5cfm . I will need to go check my tiny shop compressor, it’s pretty small so I doubt it will do it, I’m positive the compressor I use for duct cleaning would though

    Should I get a plasma cutter/will I use it

I seen a CUT50 plasma cutter for sale on marketplace for 150.00 CDN, It’s dual 110/220 volt. I would only have a 110 /15amp circuit to run it on so I guess the most I could cut with it is 1/4” ? I don’t really have a use in my mind presently but it’s super cool. I currently do all my own...

Cooling my 6 Car Non-Insulated Garage

Where did you find your contractors? Where you the GC? I’ve overseen many Reno’s, I couldn’t imagine going to the home owner and saying “ I’m so sorry, we forgot to have the insulation installed before the drywall was hung taped and finished, sorry about that”
