    So I've been thinking of getting a car/truck lift in my garage....

    The problem a lot of us have is we live in older homes and the concrete isn't 4" and we don't know the strength of the concrete. Had an estimates to remove some concrete and install large cement pads were from 4K - 6K.

    Should you choose this option, grind a small area that is small, then drill a small hole, doesn't have to be deep. just enough to be able to drill the hole larger in the future, and remove a bit to back out the screws!

    I’d go with a gloss paint as it will reflect light back better than a flat, and is easier to clean!!? As a FYI - look at all the HIGH end repair shops as they are all painted white !
