Good luck....around here a Mac man lasts only about 3 months. We currantly don't have one.

I picked up a set of Vaco at an old hardware store once.They came in handy rebuilding an 49 Chevy pickup. (rear fender bolts..etc.)

The older Stanley was pretty good..... of which I have a few things from them that have held up well. The newer stuff is probably hit or miss.

That is an older one and most likely built like a tank. If you can get it cheap enough ...snag it !

I have them in SAE and metric....still use them on occasion....but then I am a tool *****.:bounce:

I would hang on to the wrenches if it was me. The other tool is for cutting out windshields glued in with urethane sealer. Unless you replace windshields it won't be of much use to you. Worth?? Put it on Ebay and see what happens.

I have some in metric and SAE.....they have come in handy over the years.

I have found over the years that the 2 piece are stronger than the 1 piece. I have some Lisle sockets and they will take care of most things but if you encounter a tough fastener they will most likely shear off. I have twisted a few off over the years. The 2 piece are higher cost but well worth...

Why Plomb ?......because....it represents what America was back in the day. It represents the pride we had making the best tools in the world....the steel.... the fit and finish.....the pride in workmanship had by everyone that used them in building the strongest manufacturing country the world...
