No, I'm not a collector, when I had a bodyshop mine was left by the previous owners and we used it to trim up the edges of grinding discs. I have no idea of it's value :dunno:...but you can bet somebody,somewhere wants it.

Buy it.......that's a Waterloo built box. It's built like a tank. I had one just like I bought in '71 new and it took everything I could throw at it for 15 years..:rocker: The only reason I got rid of it was because I traded up to bigger box.

Mustang was a New Britain line. I got my dads old set and that looks like the original box it came in. Those sets are tough as nails but not too pretty.:thumbup:

I keep all my sockets and ratchets up there...always have. My 3/4 stuff is in a drawer in the bottom chest.

His school didn't include any tools.....all he got was a discount from Snap-On. The tools he has got either came out of my stash(extras) or he bought with his own money. He never bought into the Snap-On line of credit BS.

Sorry man...I didn't mean to come off so strong....it just kinda hit a nerve. All his loans were private. He busted his *** working 3rd shift 40+ hours week and went to school too and foots his own bills.

All I can tell you is that Pell grants run the gamut of higher education.. My son didn't qualify for a Pell or Hope scholarship because.... He worked full time (Pell) or the course wasn't long enough (Hope).....so instead of looking for a govt. handout...he took out student loans to the tune of...
