I think getting rid of the track lights is the baby step. I bought a bunch of totes to store things that are still worth reselling, even on the used market the anti theft tags are probably worth $5k, just need to setup the listing and start selling them. I am going to list some of the stuff...

I don't think there is a reality, the Salvage Garage is in some sort of Bermuda Triangle...

While meteorologically it might not be "raining", it certainly is awfully wet. Frustrating as some of the pallets weren't covered and now things are damp enough that I can't just put them away without creating a moisture issue. I tapped pretty much everything, but I now need this drizzly stuff...

So I have one more day before we have a good rain coming, I currently have tons of stuff outside that shouldn't be. I am currently going through things and I think I am going to scrap a bunch of it unless anyone has a better idea... I have hundreds of track light gimbals, no bulbs, they are...

The building was always commercial with no house, but in a residential district. The City taxed it as commercial warehouse and it has been that way since 1972. As far as the conex boxes, they are only limiting me to ones that I had before they made them illegal to have in a residential zone.

So Wednesday I spoke with the City about what I wanted to do in order to find out what I can do and it wasn't exactly great. I can still rebuild the Salvage Garage 50% at a time, but ANY expansion would require a full trip to the planning board and that would require full engineered drawings...

Last night went a bit off too, I was unloading the extrusion saw and the forklift dipped, the foot of the saw must have touched the trailer, it turned sideways a bit and must have pulled off the end of the fork or really close because when I lifted it up and backed up, it decided to take a rest...

I never know how I am going to use anything until I use it. Most of it is there to keep my shop from tipping over. I will definitely be using them for some custom items, I have a few shelves I would like to build. House fixing is going terribly, the fresh cuts in the beams to notch them into...

He has some interesting stuff for sure. I am working on making space inside for the equipment I bought a week ago, going to need the trailer for another piece of equipment on Friday. I am not really sure how I am going to make all this happen, getting to my limits mentally as well as the...

Apparently the ER caught on to the birthday thing and he had lots more attention. Just got back from cake and ice cream, he says it isn’t throbbing yet. I suspect he will feel it more tomorrow. He got away with only 8 stitches, just kissed the bone.

My schedule just changed, at my Dad's expense, well one of his fingers... He apparently tried to feed it to his bandsaw, luckily it decided to be nice and just cut him, my stepmother is taking him to the ER for stitches. Best part (or worst) is it is his birthday! Surprise!!

I wish I had more time today, but I have other things to deal with, Salvage Garage is getting more space and some organization along the way. I hope to have room for everything before next week. I am supposed to pick up another machine this week and the trailer is still loaded! I figure the...

I do think it would be a handy setup, but I would prefer to have one that drops essentially to the ground flat and it needs to be able to lift and carry more like 7 tons. I think that would be the sweet spot for forklifts, anything bigger than that would be Perk and the Muv-All anyways. I do...

The only trailer I have that would load a dead forklift is leaking hydraulic fluid so bad it costs about $50 every time I open the tail. This trailer was $125 to rent for the weekend and I did two pickups and moved another forklift to the Quonset hut. I was also driving the pickup instead of...

It is way too cold this morning, it was snowing a bit last night. Need to return the trailer I rented for the forklift pickup then head to the Salvage Garage for a bit of space making.
