Dock fan vs ceiling fan placement

I see everything I need to see with those large screw in LEDs. Only option then will be installing the ceiling fan in between the light sockets

Dock fan vs ceiling fan placement

Yea just trying to stir up the air. Most of the heat gets trapped near the ceiling. I had a dock fan before, and yea it was loud. Was checking on quieter alternatives. Will have to figure out wiring

Dock fan vs ceiling fan placement

Just finished my garage and started putting everything up. I am not sure if I should install a ceiling fan in the middle of the two lights or install the dock fan on the left corner. I have a heater on the right corner. 700sqft with 10ft ceilings. I am likely overthinking this but I would think...

Racedeck FreeFlow vs Swisstrax vs other brands

looks awesome! I do see you offer GarageFlow on clearance. what's everyone' experience with it and why is it "inferior?"

Racedeck FreeFlow vs Swisstrax vs other brands

Love all the photos, is there an album somehwere on the forum? Also, do you most just use a full square on the edges, or do you cut to get as close as possible? I just don't want to waste material.

Racedeck FreeFlow vs Swisstrax vs other brands

Looks fantastic, my garage setup is almost identical. What’s the color combo you used?

Racedeck FreeFlow vs Swisstrax vs other brands

So what difference does it make between brands on Amazon? They all look the same. Is it longevity? Thickness? Warranty? Also, I live in MN… so cold climate, slush, snow, etc. I asked a similar question on using free flow tiles on garageporn subreddit and got completely chewed out for thinking...

    Troubleshooting garage door

Calling garage techs: got my garage painted and not my door won’t close via opener. It opens just fine but on the way down it stops and goes back up. I checked the sensors, checked the rollers-little more resistance. Anything else I should look over? They didn’t touch garage door hardware when...

Good to know, I’m thinking about rolling over leftover gray wall paint over these

    Making shelves more aesthetic?

So I built some wooden shelves to handle the Costco totes for storage. Now Im finishing and painting the walls, and essentially taking everything down…it made me think the wooden shelves don’t look that “nice.” I know, it’s a garage…but I want a nice tote solution. Everyone has cabinets I’m...

Finishing drywall-get what you pay for?

So explain to me PVA primer. They will be spraying it. I go to menards and half an hour stare at $39, $70, and $130 5g buckets. What’s the difference? Does it matter when spraying?

Finishing drywall-get what you pay for?

Eh, it’s honestly not worth my time. I am pretty handy and diy a lot of stuff. Mudding is not a skill I care to get good at

    Racedeck flooring first timer

Following...planning on going with free flow here pretty soon as my garage gets finished. Hoping it gives it a cleaner look with all the slush we deal with during MN winters.

Finishing drywall-get what you pay for?

Hijacking my own thread since on the topic of finishing. Anyone know why the difference in stemwall/drywall from one side of garage to other?

Finishing drywall-get what you pay for?

No it’s all smooth. I thought about texture knockdown ceiling but if it cracks from a **** job then it looks worse patching.

Finishing drywall-get what you pay for?

Haha I’m more in line with your point of view. I just want it to look clean, put up some cabinets and home for my golf simulator. I don’t plan on instagramming anything.

Finishing drywall-get what you pay for?

Ha no one is offering a level 5 finish for sure. I’m content with level 3/4 for a garage. Both doing 2-3 coats of mud, spray primer and roll 2 coats of paint.

Finishing drywall-get what you pay for?

I’m getting quite the variation in quotes for mudding and taping and painting my 720sqft garage. All the drywall is mounted and [poorly] fire taped. There are big construction companies that can do it all and paint for $3500 and “little guys” off Facebook that can do it for $2000. I gotta...
