What to do with old tools with no value??

There is a program through kms tools in Canada here where you can donate them and they will send them to less fortunate countries that are rebuilding. Maybe you could find a program similar to this

    The secret Santa Helper

About me: work ems. I'm getting into more specialized tools as I have all the basics but could always use anything. I defiantly lean towards the auto/metal working side but have done wood too. I'll work on anything and can generally fix it just with more time and not accomplished in a straight...

The best way to sharpen chain saw?

What's this learning how it file? It takes 10 min. Hold the file at the angle indicated by the gauge and push it through. Do it 2-3 times per tooth. Takes 10 min max. We drop about 100 trees a year at the golf course and can go a full day on a file of you don't hit the dirt.

    Bicycle tools

For maintenance you won't need any specialty tools really. Get a cable puller for adjusting the derailer, chain break tool, and a chain brush for cleaning and that's about all you need. I'm sure the rest you have. If you break a crank then buy the crank puller then. That goes for any other tool.

    Long Shank Screwdrivers

Just doing a quick google image search I found wera, facom, koken and gear wrench. The wera and facom were from UK sites so they might be harder to get in NA http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Wera-Screwdriver-Set-3-Piece-Extra-Long-300mm-Blade-Shaft-PH2-PZ2-Slotted-5-5mm-/170908628715...

Using a belt sander to sharpen mower blades - small disaster

Pretty lucky on that one. I've worked at a golf course for a summer job for 7 years. Mechanic there clamps the blades in a vise and uses a flap disc on a 4" angle grinder. Works really well

    locking pliers and adjustable wrenches

    No BS screwdriver guide

These are the hard version of the instinct handle. I don't have a better pic but I've basically had them black with grease. I don't use them everyday as a mechanic but they clean up and have held up extremely well. I spray some wd 40 on a clean rag and wipe them down. Comes right off
