They are very good vises in my experience. The swivelocity on the slide seems silly until you actually use one. It can give you angles that aren't possible with other vises. I'd love to have one.

Unless they've changed in the last year all the Dewalt cutting wheels I've seen were made in Turkey...

This is very true. I try to buy the brands I like from the places I like to shop at. It can be difficult to swallow at times though when Ace is so much more expensive for the common items and there aren't any local dealers for the "expensive" stuff.

I've run into brake jobs where the easiest way to pull the caliper bolts is with a ratcheting wrench. Yes, you can cram a socket in but it's much easier to slip the wrench behind the hose or other obstruction and pull the bolt that way. I've also used them to remove nylock nuts some jackass...

I've found that a lot of standard combos have better open ends than the ratcheting wrenches commonly found in stores. Even in the same brand, like gearwrench, their non ratcheting wrenches are a lot stronger on the open ends and much more useful on line fittings. You can't always use the box...
