The Blue mechanics gloves are a win for $3.89. The price/quality ratio is on point. They fit well, are perfect for most jobs, last decently long, and are cheap enough that I'm not upset when I lose one out of the truck or off the 4 wheeler.

Thats a pretty good idea. I'd do it with HF pliers before I would with Channellock but I might try this. Like you said, a 1 1/2'' nut under a sink and you need wide jaws but short handles.

Thanks! It weighs somewhere around 350 lbs with the vise on it. I decided to go big or go home and I'm glad I did. I havent used it much yet but its sturdy enough that it wont budge when I strap something down in the vise or hammer away on the top.
