    Ridgid 18V Drill/Driver Kit for $99 + free shipping

In my opinion they're comparable to the DeWalt set I've had for ten years, if not better. Have about 10 drills and drivers in the shop at work, and only repairs they've needed in six years is replacement of the batteries (Covered by LSA)

    Ridgid 18v Hammer Drill w/2 Bats 109.99

Don't forget that when you buy the batteries individually, you don't get the LSA. (At least from what I can tell.) So that's ten bucks in the "Batteries for life" plan.

California Air Tools Ultra-Quiet Compressors on sale at Home Depot

I don't know about longetivity, but I was definitely impressed with the one I used a few years ago doing a job. Thing's damn near silent. (The 1.6 gal)

Jig saws - cordless versus cordless?

In various theatre scenery shops I've come across a fair cross-section of jigsaws. Expensive ones, cheap ones, and all over. I too am a big fan of the corded ones. I second the old bosch's being the best. I anxiously await the day I can find one of my own to replace the one I accidentally left...

Need a new radial arm or miter saw

On the cheap end, you can pick up a used radial arm saw between free and 100 bucks here on CL. But unless you need to do a lot of dadoes, I don't know why you'd spend any serious money on a radial arm anymore. Sliding compound miters are where its at. My radial arm sits with a dado blade at all...

Anyone use rapidair 3/4" Maxline in there shop?

Used it in the shop at my old job. I designed the system to work with the fittings and tubing from two kits, so no extra expenses..I definitely recommend letting the tube sit out in the sun first to soften up...the aluminum makes it pretty tough to get a straight run without letting it get warm...

    Home Depot Clearance Thread 2014

My bad- turns out they are still carrying the 24 and the 48...only the 36 was discontinued, and I got the last one of those. In my excitement I neglected to pay attention to the fact it was an oddball size.

Picked up the 5" vise for 43.00 at my HD in Greensburg, PA on the way home from work today. Saw a Jorgensen 8036 clamp chilling in the corner with a 10 dollar clearance tag on it. Got to the register, the SKU rang up as 0.01. She manually entered both the barcode and the sku, and kept coming...

Chapin hand held pump sprayer 6.50 Free Shipping @ Sears

I don't know if I would use it for WD-40..I'm not sure how it would affect the pressure seals. There's a thumb button hidden in the handle that turns on the spray...The nozzle adjusts whether its a fine mist pattern or a stream. Occurs to me that it might be a little big for WD40 too. I'd...

Chapin hand held pump sprayer 6.50 Free Shipping @ Sears

I know not everyone's in the market for them, but we use this at work a lot and this is the best price I've ever seen for the sprayers. It gave me free shipping too even though I was under the usual 59 dollar threshold...

    Dust Collection Floor Widget

Question for work here, but hoping that some of you guys might have run across this when setting up a woodworking shop in the garage. Redoing our dust collection system, and need to get dust collection to our Table Saw. Currently it's just a 4" flex line that gets stepped on, etc. I want to rig...
