    unpopular wrench sizes

17mm is often used on Japanese forklifts mainly Toyota’s for me. And 11/16 and up are commonly used for hydraulic fittings.

    GearWrench or something else...???

I would look into the dewalt 192 piece socket set. Pretty much every socket you will need with almost no skips whatsoever for 1/4 3/8 and 1/2 including ratchets and some extensions and even some hex bits. Great value if you can find for around $150. Taiwanese quality and lifetime warranty. Way...

Milwaukee vs Porter Cable impact wrench

I would trust porter cables torque number and just splurge on the brand new one if that’s what you have your mind set on. Of course any number of us will recommend you just get a cordless mid torque from Milwaukee or dewalt but you don’t seem to want that. Just my .02

    Scan tools that actively monitor?

    Equivalent brake spring tool?

Yes the BT11 is your average automotive brake spring tool. I have a few of those. Only looking for the larger one. I’ll give the MAC Ebay one a try as posted earlier and if not I’ll just go through snap on. It’ll be worth it in the long run. Thanks everyone.

    Equivalent brake spring tool?

I think that’s a regular size for automotive. This brake tool is larger and deeper for I’m assuming larger trucks but it also works on certain forklifts.

    Equivalent brake spring tool?

I’ve always told myself 3 times and I should own that tool. Well guess what... Today was number 3 hence the post. I’m just not the guy who HAS to own top quality snap on everything so was hoping for maybe a Taiwanese or quality Chinese brand one before going to mr snappy.

    Equivalent brake spring tool?

To start off I’m a forklift technician and I’m wondering if one of you guys knew of an equivalent brake spring tool to the snap on BT12. Most smaller forklifts can use the smaller automotive brake spring tools such as the snap on BT11 or any auto parts store tool but some of the bigger trucks...

    Swivel impact sockets

I’ve been using a set of 3/8 dewalt impacts swivels for about a year now and so far none have broke on me. They are made in Taiwan and like most of their hand tools they get looked past for some reason even though they offer great quality at affordable prices. I think you can get either sets sae...

    The DeWalt Addiction Thread

Dewalt actually makes a 12v (possibly 20v) I believe ratchet branded for the Mac tool trucks. But the price tag is outrageous. I’d much sooner recommend a Milwaukee, ac Delco, or even the earthquake from harbor freight before spending your money on that. Last I looked I think it was like near...

I have plenty of sockets and the swivel socket adapter that comes in that set. I was looking for the 1/4” non impact swivel set because it makes certain projects easier. Thanks for the reply though.

Hanson socket organizer set, 6 pc $37.93

The only negative I have to say about the harbor freights are that for only the 1/4” some sockets don’t seem to fit and some get stuck but the 3/8 and 1/2 are great for what you pay for.
