Update: I sent an email to their customers' service and a Ms. Jewel Poole responded that that the replacement ratchets will be shipped out to me next week and that there is no need to ship back the old ratchets as they are discontinued.

There customer's service told me I had to mail the kits back to them for an exchange. It would be on my dime for shipping.

They show the hollow drive as so that an allen key can be put through it. I think it will help for some of the smaller bolts I use as it will allow anyone 1/4" or less to pass though the socket and ratchet. I assume the socket ring is in place of the usual ball, as a hollow drive wouldn't allow...

The seller now has the aviation version of this ratchet available. $33 gets declined, but $35 gets auto accepted.
