evaporust before and after- before photo is no so good. After evaporust they look great. then wiped down with WD40

So what is the humidity like where you store your tools? I had a similar problem where i had my tools in a shed. by adding drawer liners, and dedicate packs I was able to control it some, but I had a terrible time with my tools rusting. I did have some success with PB blaster on a rag...

yep, yours looks rather nice, mine is kinda beat up.

hit an estate sale after work, missed the big tool boxes. Came away with all this for 35$ jack, drill bits, couple of hammers, 16 inch adjustable, mostly craftsman snips, vice grips, one Eastwig hammer,3 stubby screw drivers one snap on, other craftsman.

So I am think that is thew way to go. I am going to dunk it in evapo-rust to treat the rust on the inside of the box. then , clean it up good. I am not sure if that is an original paint color. I have always though craftsman used red.
