8 or 6 gauge for my lift?

I'm having a little trouble finding the 2-2-2-4 I see a lot of 2-2-4-6 however. Seems like the big stores don't have the 2-2-2-4 available anymore.

8 or 6 gauge for my lift?

I guess its an area thing because when I googled 6/3 on Home Depot it comes up as $159, when I set my local store (Staten Island, NY) it jumps to $226 and the 8/3 is $111 (unless I'm doing something wrong...doesnt make sense for the price jump because neither are in stock and both would have to...

8 or 6 gauge for my lift?

I don't have 220 in my garage only 110 at the moment so Im looking into putting a new 40a breaker and running conduit to my backyard for my lift. Its roughly a 125' run, my buddy recommended 6/3 because of the length...but my very basic research shows that voltage drop would be minimal and 8/3...

    Tips on installing lift?

Im going 6in deep for the pad with mesh and rebar. They haven't discussed where the reliefs will be yet, every contractor seemed to have a different approach/sizing. Im assuming with 3-8' wide sections I would be good? I was nervous with just one joint down the middle at 12' that I would be...
