I used my 2700psi Honda Homelite pressure washer about a month ago and forgot to drain it out completely which I'm sure is why my pump won't move any water right now. We've had some cold temperatures between now and then and I'll bet it froze up and the ice had it's way with something internally...

I am in search of a set of "B type" wire crimpers for a project, I'd like to pick it up locally if possible. I've looked on the websites of Lowes, Radioshack, etc and haven't had any luck tracking it down...any suggestions? Thanks!

I have some filing cabinets I use for stuff like that. Also use it for odd-ball power tools [circ saw, sawzall, etc].

I did work out of my garage last spring. Jeep welding, lifts, regears. I advertised through PMs on forums and craigslist and was busy, very busy. I'm still not comfortable with the liability if something happens, but I needed the money and would consider doing it again. But I'd like to do an LLC...

I use the Westward tool and haven't had any real trouble with it. Use some Hougen [or similar] annular cutters for the holes if you are going into sheet metal. They'll provide a much better hole over a drill bit.

IMO watch the feed rate on the chop saw, I see a lot of people just hogging it down and expecting reasonable results. If you run the feed a little slower, I usually end up with "better" cuts...still chop saw cuts, but better at least.

Anyone had luck getting them warrantied? I have one or two that need replacing, but they aren't local store stock items. The only one's I've broken have a ton of mileage on them and are one's I've used to back an impact...

FWIW that $10 drill bit set is very good if you don't abuse them. We've drilled a couple feet [total of several parts] of 4130 on a lathe with those. Still going strong.

I have a 220v air compressor A.O Smith electric motor [for a Craftsman Professional 60gal] that is in good working condition. The pump had a broken rod and the compressor parted out. I assume this motor is worth something to someone on craigslist, any idea on it's value? $20? $100? I don't know...
