Nice job on the restoration. Take some time and wire wheel the handle, if you want it to look like new use a 3M deburring pad on it. Only took 20-30 minutes to get mine back to perfect. There are some guys that bonded the broken lock down to a piece of steel to reinforce it.

Great read. They put a lot of thought into testing. For me 4-5 inch is big enough. Had a chance to get a 1920ish Reed 4c and it was just to big and tall to be used in my garage.

I have a blur and a Speed Bump. Both are great knives. The blur is faster and has a better blade, but the Bump is my go to knive. The lock is easier to use with one hand. Get speedsafe. Get a recurved blade. Get s30v steel. Find one that fits your hand and is the right weight.
