    Anyone lowered their garage floor?

    I am thinking about lowering the floor in my end bay down 18 to 24 inches before I pour my floor. Looking for addition height so that I can put in a car lift. Anyone done this before? You see lots of houses with attached garages and one bay lowered for motorhome storage. Jim

    Safety switches for vintage power tools

    The switches on most vintage equipment are not placed in a very convenient place for an emergency shut down. I added switches to a my Craftsman Table Saw and Drill Press and also my vintage DeWalt radial arm saw.

    New to forum- Upcoming shop remodel

    Basic footprint is 24 by 60. 24 x 24 is enclosed, insulated and heated. Will be working on the open 24 x 36 section next. Needs new roof on complete building, open end needs floor, insulation, wiring and doors. Pictures were taken last summer when I hosted a garage party.
