    5'6". this was actually a bone of contention with the city as the corner is 10' 1/8" from the corner of the neighbors roof. They said it was too close, the code says 10'. Close, but still legal.

    Trim in up on the front and ready to accept a garage door. Property line side is 99% and looks great in my opinion. Hardy board on the back side is mostly up and will be a great spot to hang my garden tools. This has been a productive week.

    Hung some lights today. each fixture is rocking 4 T8 LED bulbs, pushing out a lot of lumens and not so much heat. It is bright where I need it.

    Over the better part of this year, we have been attempting to wall in the existing carport on our mid century home. after 8 months, we finally got the permiting to allow construction to go forward. up to this point I have been chronicling this is the intro thread here...
