Double Box end what degree of offset do you prefer?

The offset I prefer and have done for the past thirty years are these Sidchrome(Australian Made).Sadly they are no longer made in this country and the new ones have a much shallower offset. The wrench(spanner) shown is a 1/2"x9/16" [/IMG] [/IMG]

What are some oddball metric socket and wrench sizes?

Ha ha I never said the metric standards were law,I remember reading somewhere that the 15mm size came about to give better clearance for working with modern engines.I'd like to believe the reason for a bolt head being 15mm and the nut 16mm is so that you only need a single set of spanners to...

How good are you at eyeballing hex fastener sizes?

It all depends on where the particular fastener is located, If it's in plain sight and easily accessible then I get it right 9 out of 10 times. However if it is located at the top of a ladder or underneath a dozer necessitating crawling underneath or climbing inside the engine bay then I get it...

    Favorite T-Handle Speed Bar

I have a three piece set boxed by a company called Geiger which look identical to Astro and Sunex. I must admit I never use the 1/2"drive but use the others quite often. I do wish however that they had a locking mechanism to lock the socket on.

ir2131 impact wrench rebuild gone bad

Do the new vanes move freely in the rotor?,they should slide in and out quite freely as they rely on airflow to move them out to seal with the cylinder,I remember some tune up kits a few years back would need the vanes sanded slightly to get them to move freely
