Nope, I’m not confused at all. In fact, I find it amusing how only on Garage Journal do people have such a passion to hate on snap on, dealerships and mechanics. There’s plenty worse things in the world to get your ******* in a bunch over.

You know damn well if Snap On started to open up retail stores, everyone that bashes them would be in those stores buying something.

It seems those without snap on tools are obsessed with convincing themselves and others they don’t need them.

I have the original and it hits pretty hard, but that trigger is either on or off. I don’t like that part of it. Especially when trying to work in a tight spot. My IR with the regular shank is still my go to for most jobs. The variable trigger makes all the difference in the world.

My neighbor has an Ego. I watch him cut half his lawn, charge the battery and finish it the next day.

If they’re too tight when new, I’ll lube them up a bit with some penatrating oil.

I don’t need 12 points very often, but when I do, I bought a Sunnex socket set with both short and deep 12 points.

My favorite small pics are Mayhew. Better than any of the tool truck brands in my opinion, and cheaper.

It’s been taking months for all the tool trucks to get inventory or warranty replacements. This has been going on for a few years now.

Most of my sockets, wrenches and ratchets are Snap On. I’ve had many of my Snap On sockets for over 30 years and rarely do they break. I’ve broken maybe a handful of sockets, and they get used everyday. Even when the common sizes start to wear out, the Snap On guy will swap it out for a new one...

I have a lot of Milwaukee and Snap On electric tools. I’ve had a lot of Milwaukee batteries fail and die early over the years. The Snap On batteries never seem to die. I have some that are 7 or 8 years old now. Only one has gone bad and it was one of the first and oldest ones I bought.

I give mine a squirt occasionally when they start to feel a little tight.

I have a couple different one I bought from Costco years ago. One of them is an absolute beast and heavy! They both get regular use several times a week and never had a problem with either of them. I haven’t seen Costco stock or sell jacks in a while now.

I have a couple sets of Gearwrench swivels also in 1/4 and 3/8 drive. I've broken a lot of the Gearwrench swivels and wouldn't buy them again.

I’ve bought a few off brand M12 batteries from Amazon. While they seem to work just fine, the plastic outer case is brittle. I’ve dropped them and the plastic cracks easily. The Milwaukee batteries I’ve dropped many times and they never crack like the off brands.
