    Shipping an Air Compressor

Just call a local (courier service) they will pick it up at the carrier and deliver to your garage. If you can't find one ask dispatch at the carrier who the farm these deliveries out to. Don't waste money renting anything or getting three guys to help. One option off the top of my head is...

    Floor color options

I agree with Shea, I have a darker floor and it is a MAJOR PITA to keep clean. You will see ANY and ALL foot prints, tire tracks. I would absolutely not do a dark color again. Go with White. Good Luck, Mike

    Delta Dye Not Penetrating

Clint, I have a super porous floor also and this is what I found out/did. I put on two gallons of silver as a first coat, you couldn't even tell I put it on. Next I put on 4 gallons of Red Oak. I first started to just spray it on and it pooled really bad so on the advise of another delta Dye...

    Pole barn garage cabin

I see you plan to put the barn in the woods therefor needing to some clearing. What about moving the barn to the clearing deeper in your lot and cutting a road thru the woods. Might give you some more privacy and be cheaper. I also have 8 acres in Northern MN and I went with a mobile home and...

I think I ruined my floor

It does have a shine to it just not like the others I have seen. I'm more disappointed in myself for the prep. You can see where I burnt it with acid, no amount of sealer is going to fix that. It will be ok, with the amount of stuff I'm going to put in there you will never see the floor anyway...

jd, These are pictures of the semi dry / wet sealer, I'll take a picture of it tonight when it has dried for 36 hrs. The gloss has gotten better with each coat but after 10 gallons I was expecting more.

I think I ruined my floor

These are from yesterday after another coat. you can see in the first picture how it dries dull. The top square is still wet and the one next to it is almost dry. I was hoping for a nice gloss finish but I am going to settle for what it is. I will have 10 gallons of sealer on this floor after...

I think I ruined my floor

Updated Pics, these are Friday after another coat of sealer. I put the can there to try and show the color of the floor better. I'm still having an issue with the floor drying to a dull gloss vs shiny.

I think I ruined my floor

Scotty, I put another coat of sealer on the floor and it is looking better. I have a question, specs say that it should dry to the touch in 4-6 hours. It stays sticky until the next morning, from the first coat to the current third?? I did put some on my attached garage with no prep to dry out...

Can I use these lights in my garage?

Thanks Platonic, If I am reading you correctly, I can cut the wires by the ballast, lets say the right side ( three blue and one red ) connect all of them to HOT. Then cut the left side ( three blue and one red ) and connect to neutral and I am good to go? Seems too simple. Thx, Mike

Can I use these lights in my garage?

Chruler, thanks for the info. These are brand new never used. I put one in my attached garage with fluorescent bulbs and it works fine, I hung it with chain. That is not an option in the detached.

Can I use these lights in my garage?

I was given four of these lights and was wondering if I could use them in my 28x32 x10 garage. I read thru the "Best fixture Ever" thread and it left my head spinning. These are 4' and I would like to flush mount them but I will not be fitting the trusses, are sheet rock anchors going to work...
