I thought the same thing since the gearwrench item I was interested in stated "sold by sears", but once I ordered, it showed "fulfilled by Sears Authorized Supplier" which is the same thing the Knipex item I ordered said, so I thought that it might get canceled too, but it didn't.

I ordered a Knipex item the other day with my points, it was canceled, so I placed a new order this time for a gearwrench item and it shipped yesterday so it seems that they are not canceling gearwrench (at least for what I ordered).

You are not out of line at all. I just think people are saying not to immediately assume he was intentionally being deceptive. Try and work with the seller to reach and agreement on how to fix this, if that doesn't work Paypal/ebay will have your back. Disputes are always in the favor of the buyer.

Also while were on the subject, I constantly see people make the common mistake of equating overseas manufacture with low quality, which is much less true now than it was in the past. Companies can demand the same tolerances from a Chinese manufacturer as an American one, American manufacturers...

Calm down. It's a transition period. They stated they will starting bringing over more and more production to the US but it's not an instant thing.

I actually enjoy them assuming I am interested in the product and the presenter isn't really dry and boring. Also as others have mentioned you can learn a little bit extra about a product based on how it's packaged and what all is included.

I have several sets of Ernst racks and I have a few sets from Tekton that I got with wrench sets, they are identical as far as I can tell. I am pretty sure that Ernst makes them for Tekton.
