After install a sears screw garage opener I can't get it to operate Flashes a code 1 which is a open wire. Have checked wires no opens between opener end and 1 in from light. Can the safty on the motor end be bypassed to check the opener for operation If so how?

just found a kwik lift at good price can I will have to take apart to remove and transport to my garage can some one tell me how long it will take todisassemble and what the weight of the heavy piece is will weigh. I will be using a 8ft truck to move alone.

Does anyone have a drawing of a kwik lift. I like the idea and thinking about fab one from raw materials just need some key diamentions and material thickness any help. considering using 3x12x1/4 channel for the main runners but need some help with the forward boxes and rear jack area
