Hi,i am trying to find a 1/2 -24 left hand thread nut, for an old blue point bench grinder that i have.I think the threads are whitworth because my friend checked the shaft threads with a whitworth gauge, that is marked 24 g 316.I have searched on google and could not find that size nut...

Hi,new member from montreal canada.I have an old blue point grinder that is missing the left hand thread nut on the shaft.My friend used a whitworth thread gauge that is 24 g 316 ,the shaft is 1/2 inch .So it appears it has english threads.I have been searching google and cannot find it...
