I was at a local car show/swap meet yesterday, and scored 4 green barn light shades(if thats the correct term). Anyhow, I got all 4 for $50, and was wondering if anyone out there has rebuilt one, and or restored one. I figure I can make the goose neck out if 3/4 conduit, but I'm not quite sure...

I helped re-tin a lady's roof back in the summer, and she gave me the old roofing material. It's 4x12 sheets of aluminum. Looks like regular 3v roofing tin except it's lighter weight and is sort of textured/dimpled. Anyhow, I'm going to use this for my ceiling in my 24x30 pole barn shop...
