Barn light restoration help....

I was at a local car show/swap meet yesterday, and scored 4 green barn light shades(if thats the correct term). Anyhow, I got all 4 for $50, and was wondering if anyone out there has rebuilt one, and or restored one. I figure I can make the goose neck out if 3/4 conduit, but I'm not quite sure how the best way would be to mount them to the wall. Then comes the light portion itself. I was thinking about just buying some cheap light that had a metal cage around it, and somehow modifying where I can mate it to the green shade.

Any ideas????
