Not sure if I should ask here or the heating - a/c forum....But here goes. What's a good brand name to go with? I just got my stove out of storage and it got some surface rust where some of the old paint flaked off. I know I need to sand or wire brush it down and get it as clean as possible...

Building a work bench and I'm using 2x6s for the frame work. My question is which would be a better lumber to use.....#2 & better, kiln dried , Spruce-Pine-Fir......Or, Premium #2 & better, Douglas fir? Price wise I'm only looking at $0.12 difference per foot. So it's only going to be $50.00...

I'm looking to get a couple of reels on the cheap side (If not free). They used, Mod#7800-OMP / Ser#910523-090, Oil hose reels. Can I use this for air? I know I have to clean all the oil out of them and change the hoses, but are they going work as they are?...If not is there anything I can do...

Can I use a exterior Acrylic paint over a oil based primer sealer (Kilz) Or am I going to run into problems? Thought I was getting an enamel paint.....Even asked the guy and he said it was.... Only after I got home and read the fine print, did I see it was Acrylic resin paint. I guess next time...
