    How to "attach" or build a step with concrete

    I just had a garage built and on the side have a personnel door. How do I add a nice step out of concrete? I have some extra rebar from the build. Should I drill two holes in the pad and put some rebar to hold to slab? What do I put between the two concrete (slab and new step)? Thanks, Greg
