    Old Simplex Jack

    Found this in my late PawPaws shed. I originally thought it was a car jack but after a little research and finding that they are used to level pier and beam homes and my PawPaws house was pier and beam that makes more sense. Any other info on this thing would be appreciated. pics:

    Another Stain thread?

    I want to epoxy my garage floor, the only problem is that I do some welding on the floor and I would just burn it up. I was thinking I could just stain it. That way I can just re stain it when it gets bad. I'd like to do black. Thoughts? Suggestions? Pics?

    Tiling

    Anyone here ever tile a garage? Give me some pros and cons what you think. Cons: Heavy things dropped would break tile Welding splatter(not sure how this would effect it). Pros: Never seen it done(kinda over the top) Can't really think of anymore other than it might look cool.
