Wire rope crimping/swaging hole sizes for aluminum ferrules

Hi all I want to use my hydraulic terminal crimper for wire rope ferrules but don’t want to spend hundreds of dollars on dies. (The dies I have are hex shaped for electrical terminals). So I want to mill a set of dies to swage aluminum ferrules for wire rope diameters from 1/16” to 1/4”...

Upgrading casters on my Rigid shop vac

The label specifies optimal speeds for each bit on two different types of metal (iron/soft steel and stainless steel). The optimal speeds range from 16,000 to 33,000 RPMs and it...

Convince me not to buy M12 Milwaukee

I have about $500 to spend at Home Depot (gift cards) and have my eye on cordless Milwaukee tools. I am a torn between the latest, but more expensive M18 tools, and the M12 line. I use my tools mainly for working on my Land Cruisers (every weekend pretty much) and also for around the house...
