i repeatedly read their connectors are crappy , but are their rubber air hoses any good ? i',m considering their 50 ft. 3/8 inch and the 50 ft 1/2 inch . should i be ok ? or should i look elsewhere ?

it seems 3/8 is prefered over 1/4 inch , but is there any benefit or harm using 1/2 inch airline over 3/8 ? it would be a 50 ft length . also what are the benefits or drawbacks of going from 1/4 couplers to 3/8 ?
