    harbor freight gantry winches- how to repair?

    I'm using a new Harbor freight 1 ton gantry for the first time and both winches used for raising the columns have jammed while trying to raise them up to full height. I've taken both winches apart, cleaned out any grit, re-greased, etc but no better than before. What gives? does anyone else have...

    Weaver Model B New Way floor jack

    I've had this jack for a few years but haven't used it often. Steerable front wheels and castering rear wheel. looks like it was popular in the 1920's according to magazine ads. Weaver claimed it was rated for 5,000 pounds. Anyone else have one, or know more about them? Peter
