I just purchased my first vintage vise. It is a C Parker #39. It weighs 52 pounds. What is the difference between this vise and #39X?

According to the seller this vise has 5.5 inch jaw width and weighs in at 80 pounds. It has No. 400 on one side. No other manufacturer markings evidently. It looks like it may be an Athol. Any idea?
